Public bug reported: (As seen in the latest daily build of 32bit Ubuntu Budgie)
See attached screenshot. Searching within settings is currently not very useful / intuitive, as it only finds results at the level of top-level menu entries / categories, but not the items within them. As an example, searching for "uni" brings up Universal Access, but the same search tool produces nothing when searching for items within the Universal Access category (e.g. "contrast", "screen", "cursor", etc). Thanks, Ken. *** ** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "Search within Gnome settings only finds top-level menu entries.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1754819/+attachment/5074912/+files/Search%20within%20Gnome%20settings%20only%20finds%20top-level%20menu%20entries.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1754819 Title: Searching within Gnome Settings only works for top-level menu entries To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1754819/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
