Using a Logitech M310 from a KM520 bundle kit. When it stops working, I've been able to get it to work again by running xev and holding the mousewheel down and cycling through several events. Once it starts showing, it will fire many button presses. Once it starts to appear, there will be a noticeable delay from button press to event. This delay decreases, and eventually disappears. This sorts it out for a day or so.
I was convinced it was hardware failure (possibly bad soldering points on the middle mouse click), since it seems to respond to more pressure on the wheel, but the regularity of failure and the fact it works after following this protocol makes me doubt it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1581088 Title: Middle mouse (wheel-click) button stopped working after upgrade to 16.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1581088/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
