Yes I gathered that while the label on Chrome/Chromium say OpenSource, that's only a veneer.
The thing I find most upsetting about this is that Canonical keeps all these closed/outdated projects on Launchpad (even ignoring the lack of committing work done on Launchpad to upstream projects). There must be many thousands of work hours wasted because people see "oh I can translate X here" and then it turns out that X is no longer active upstream or that the translations aren't being committed etc etc etc. Canonical really must do a big clear-out of such projects. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1376217 Title: Adding Gaelic (gd) to builds To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/chromium-browser/+bug/1376217/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
