+ meson 0.45.0 is already in bionic and apparently isn't causing problems.

+ I did a test rebuild of reverse depends and everything still builds.

+ There haven't been any significant regressions reported upstream.

+ Last cycle when GNOME was switching many components to meson, we needed newer
meson versions. So it was just a bad habit that I synced the new version this
time. I will try to be more careful in the future.
