Hello Tech Support;

My problems are just getting worse. My 16.04 desktop stopped accepting my
password.
After many attempts and after checking online for help and finding that
nothing worked I
attempted to install 18.08. That is what caused me to send in that crash
report.

On the second attempt I got much further before that crash occurred with
the option to
continue. It installed but the pointer kept going around and around as
though something
was still being installed. That stayed on for almost 2 hours until I
stopped it. I was then
instructed to eject the DVD and press Enter. I was able to go online check
several different
things while all the while the pointer kept going round and around.

I restarted the computer once more and the 18.08 installation disappeared
completely.
Now when I attempt to start it it goes right back to my original problem
insisting that I put
in my password. The DVD gets ejected every time I insert it into the drive.
I cannot boot
from the DVD neither can I find the installed version of 18.04.

I need HELP ASAP.

W Elias
