I get an effect like this

To obtain it i just simple use Totem several times, both for playing video or
music (so in the main window there's the plugin animation along the music).
I can't see videos even if switch to VLC.
I've tried to disable Compiz but the effect remains the same.
I can solve this by doing "Log off" and then log in once again into
Ubuntu.
Video card: Nvidia 7900GS
