Also it is pertinent to keep in mind that for many of us we do not have a bios update available, Gateway has never released a single update to my laptop's bios. Heck if I could update my bios I wouldn't consider this a bug! All it needs are a few more freq tables hard coded into the kernel, and they were working in Feisty.
