Private bug reported:

Installation process failes to install GRUB boot loader on 4k RAID
arrays.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a IMSM RAID array in BIOS.
2. Boot to Ubuntu installation.
3. Move through the installation to the partitioning section (workaround from 
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/debian-installer/+bug/1756348 may be 
applicable)
4. Choose installation on RAID device.
5. Move through packages installation and other screens that may pop up.
6. Behold the error screen as seen on "grub-error.PNG"
