Public bug reported: I swapped out the SATA cable, and installed a brand new one. Same error as I reported 15 or 20 minutes ago. Installation failed, claiming that it could not write to a read only file on the hard disk. I have a photo on my CELL that I can send you.
This is while attempting to install onto a known good Mushkin 1 TB SSD, just removed from a little used netbook, where it was happily running Ubuntu.
