Public bug reported:
Working with an install to HD of Lubuntu 18.04 looking through the
application menu "gparted" is not listed. Trying to install gparted
thru terminal says, "gparted is the latest edition" . . . but no where
to be seen and wouldn't launch through terminal.
Going to synaptic package manager and searching "gparted" shows that it
is installed, but not appearing anywhere in menus. I used synaptic to
"reinstall" gparted, after that the "gparted" menu item shows up,
clicking on it opens the window requesting password, the cursor spins to
indicate "activity" and then stops . . . gparted does not open or
appear. And no crash report is generated.
