The fact that your vcs and the ubuntu archive have diverged its unfortunate,
but we can try to recover it properly.
I unfortunately see that you have dropped packaging changes, for instance the
changes to make the package comply with the python policy.
Additionally, we can't drop changes from the changelog, as we would loose the
traceability we have in it, as well as the consistency of the archive.
I think we can recover with:
1) removing this entry from changelog:
prevu (1:0.4.1bzr50-0ubuntu1) feisty; urgency=low
* Removed Lintian Stuff (Closes Malone: 72826)
* Updated to comply with python policy (Closes Malone: 72825)
-- Martin Meredith <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Tue, 6 Feb 2007 12:04:14 +0000
I can't find any trace of this in the archive?
2) Add these changes between 1:0.4.1bzr46-0ubuntu1 and
1:0.4.1bzr51-0ubuntu1:
prevu (1:0.4.1bzr46-0ubuntu3) gutsy; urgency=low
* Add support for Gutsy as a valid target
-- John Dong <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Wed, 03 Oct 2007 14:59:40 -0400
prevu (1:0.4.1bzr46-0ubuntu2) feisty; urgency=low
* Update the package to comply with the New Python Policy (LP: #72825)
* Remove lintian overrides because of inconsistent use (LP: #72826)
-- Albin Tonnerre <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Wed, 14 Mar 2007 02:07:44
+0100
3) Reintroducing the python changes of LP: #72825:
In control:
Change
Build-Depends: debhelper (>= 5.0.38)
Add
Build-Depends-Indep: python-central (>= 0.5.6)
XS-Python-Version: >= 2.4
Add pycompat 2
In rules add dh_pycompat after dh_installman
Please resubscribe u-u-s once corrected.
