I specify that after the crash I rebooted and the upgrade was apparently successful. I did aptitude clean/autoclean. The upgrade button kept appearing even if the system was already a gutsy. I gave up trying and I updated the system from terminal. Today I read your message and I launched adept-manager: the button doesn't appear but it downloads something on /tmp (but then nothing happens).
