The Ubuntu Software package indicated the presence of an OS-update so I ran that. After completion, virtualbox does appear to start the VM, but then a message box pops up identifying itself as a "Guru Meditation". It directs me to the virtualbox conmmunity and supply the VBox.log and VBox.png and suggests to press <OK>, because pressing <Ignore> presumes special knowledge (which I don't think I have).
However, I think virtualbox should not behave like this after a system initiated update and so I think this is not just a problem, but a bug. Note: while this panel is up, the system will not respond, i.e. I cannot start shutter to take a screenshot. Meanwhile, I still can't run my VM. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1760547 Title: virtualbox - RTR3InitEx failed with rc=-1912 (rc=-1912) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/virtualbox/+bug/1760547/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
