Since it seemed like this issue was coming from bluez or blueman, I did some package removal tests and was surprised by the results. These were done in order, which all packages removed in the previous step still removed in the following step.
1. Remove pulseaudio-module-bluetooth, no change. 2. Remove blueman, no change. 3. Remove bluez, bluez-cups, bluez-obexd, no change. 4.
