Public bug reported:
On a Pentium N3540, when trying to launch software install the entires
system freezes and a forced reboot is needed to restore the system. This
may be related to the bug that causes a Pentium CPU to freeze when
switching into power-save mode, but the Software Manager should not be
doing something that could crash the CPU. It could be caused by the fact
that the laptop does not have a graphics chip which could be causing the
software manager to call a rendering function that the CPU cannot
respond to.
