** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: ubiquity

I don't have two computers available. The installation crashed while
attempting to configure hardware. The last message was
that it was creating the initrd img. I have attempted the install many
times, with the same result [always crashes at the same place]
I had similar problems with installing Ubuntu 10.04. The original Beta
package installed fine, but the finished 10.04 crashed. I don't know what the
differences between the Beta package and the finished package would be. Can
you shed some light?
.......I am currently using Ubuntu 10.04 Beta rls.
