Public bug reported:

After updating to Gutsy, using xrandr freezes the system to the point
that only a hardware reset helps.

My card is an ATI Radeon 7000, the driver used is ati.

In Feisty I could use xrandr rotation. Also, with a Nvidia FX 5200 under
Gutsy on the same machine, xrandr worked.
