Thanks for your report, What type of ID tags are they? ID3V2 ID3V1? May
you install id3v2 and see if the following command show you the tags? :
id3v2 -l song.
Also would be nice to have the rhythmbox debug log, please run
rhythmbox from the command line with the following command and attach
the output to the report: rhythmbox --debug.
