I use my laptop for development for systems that are standardized on 16.04, so I don't have the option to upgrade at the moment.
Also, I don't think this problem has been in 16.04 for very long. I've attached encrypted drives dozens of times over the last couple years, and have never had this problem. It's only after the last batch of package updates in the last month that now it locks me out. Do you know what package is responsible for the password prompt shown upon mounting encrypted USB hard drives? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1761663 Title: Attached encrypted USB drive gets stuck in password prompt To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1761663/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list email@example.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
