Public bug reported:

My 18.04 system was so unstable, I decided to try flatlining and starting over.
ubiquity crashed while trying to install.
In the last 22 attempts, it usually hard hung either after the network
connected or after creating the papersize. This time, however, it crashed
causing apport to report.
