I also note that during these 3 months (or more) of testing I had
several problems related to the nouveal and nvidia drivers available in
the "devel" repositories for bionic.

Almost all kernel upgrades with dkms recompilation, there were
compilation or configuration errors of the drives, sometimes nvidia ora
nouveal, that I needed to be alternating, installing, reinstalling,
removing, overlapping, repeatedly trying to get a reconfiguration to
recover the normal operation of the graphical interface.

Despite the work I believe I was successful and I was able to maintain
my goal of helping to test ubuntu during this time, reporting, as far as
possible, the problems I encountered.

What was really striking was all these compatibility issues between the
new linux kernel, the bionic graphics drivers, and the graphical
nvidia/intel hardware structure available in this dell notebook.
