Public bug reported:

During an upgrade to gutsy 7.10 alternate cd (cdromupgrade) from Feisty (i386)
in the visible terminal when the packages we're going through the "setting up
package name..." one of the scripts that must have been run generated a python
error, and the tracestack for python was called... Unfortunately i don't know
the name of the package (sorry) but the upgrader returned a message: Your
system could be in an unusable state ...
At the moment, my system *is* working, but I feel as though it might not be
entirely finished upgrading.
Hope this helps,
Cheers
