Public bug reported: I just downloaded the 2nd beta installer image for Ubuntu server 18.04 and tried to install it over my existing system. During the install process, it gives me the following options for partitioning the disk:
Use An Entire Disk Manual Back What I expected to happen: Upon selecting "Manual", it should show the existing partitions on my disks and ask me what to do with them (format, mount, etc). What actually happened: Upon selecting "Manual", it brings up the file system summary with my two drives, but it thinks they are empty (the only available option for both of them is "Add First Partition"). ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1763956 Title: Ubuntu 18.04 beta installer doesn't see existing partitions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1763956/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
