------- Comment From bren...@br.ibm.com 2018-04-16 16:06 EDT------- Looking further at this problem, it seems that ipr.ko is not part of the basic set of device drivers in the installer package.
If I exit to the shell at the beginning of d-i, I do not find ipr.ko: BusyBox v1.27.2 (Ubuntu 1:1.27.2-2ubuntu3) built-in shell (ash) Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands. ~ # cd / ~ # find . -name ipr.ko ~ # It seems it will only show up later, maybe if we grab the -extra package? If that is the case, and I would like to confirm soon, we will need to move ipr back to the main kernel package. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1751813 Title: Ubuntu 18.04 installer does not detect any IPR based HDD/RAID array [S822L] [ipr] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-power-systems/+bug/1751813/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
