Public bug reported:

First and most importand Issue: I miss a switch in the printer settings
to disable automatic detection and adding.

On VM in the company I have Problems, becuase after Systemstart masses of
Printermessages appear and annoy me. Also I have the Problem that I'm not
anymore able to detect the Printer I need in the whole bunch of other unwanted
Printers. It would be more easy if I had to use only the standard Printer but
that's not the case.

Also the Problem is to add a Printer:
It's easy to get the Printer IP address. But in the add Dialog there is a text
in the search bar which says I could insert an IP addres. But this do not work.
I have to go to Additional Printer settings. there could I add an IP address
but it has to bee an address starting with "ipp://" ?? Why do I have to do
something like that. IP-Adrress is IP-Address, detect your protocol and what
ever yourself!
After that I have to descide for HPLIB and two AppSocket what ever.
For a Prnter which was not suported I had to enter at first the Printer details
and scroll through a shitty long list of printers and had to research that a
"Cannon iR" is a "Cannon Image Runner".
At the End i had to download a ppd File from canon. (That was an adventure on
it's own that has nothing to do with Linux). Now I have a Printer that work and
renamed with Special text to get it at the top of the Big list of unwanted
Printers in the system.
