There are very many bugs reported recently against xorg with a commmon
theme
the following are just 2 examples from the various xorg logs
(EE) /dev/dri/card0: failed to set DRM interface version 1.4: Permission denied
(EE) intel(0): [drm] failed to set drm interface version: Permission denied
[13].
