Public bug reported:
plasma-discover was working fine few days ago. Didn't update any
packages or install anything that could break it, and today its not
working at all. The application starts but you cant click anything once
its open, and you have to kill the process manually. Same thing with the
install plasmoids dialog, but if you kill it, the whole plasmashell
environment crashes. If this wasnt weird enough, if I run plasma-
discover with sudo, the application works, but you cant install
anything. It says installed but in reality it isn't. Here is the output
of plasma-discover:
