Still experiencing this in Bionic 18.04...
* Touching the App-Grid icon in the dash-to-dock causes the app icons to
appear, and quickly disappear. (It's as if you touched the App-Grid icon twice,
very quickly).
* Touching a favorites icon in the dash-to-dock causes two instances of the
application to open.
(It's as if you touched the favorite icon twice, very quickly).
