It looks like you only allocated 100 mb to your /boot partition and ran
out of space.  Give it more space.

  I don't know why it crashed I've done this a few times. Maybe it's
  because I plugged in a keyboard and flash drive while it was
  installing. Basically I'm installing a 2nd (encrypted) ubuntu into a
  LVM volume with EFI booting etc. There's already a non-encrypted LVM
  ubuntu volume. I'm just testing different setups in virtualbox.
