I am no longer able to reproduce this bug since the installation failure was caused by a buggy UEFI firmware. I updated the firmware and the installation worked flawlessly.
I tested various installation methods at the time, so I don't recall the exact configuration of the device when the error occurred. I used to have a working installation (before I tired to reinstall) that was set up with LVM. But the installer should have erased the disk at the beginning of the installation, shouldn't it? The error occurred at the very end. (And yes, there is only one disk installed which is an eMMC.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1754300 Title: Installer crashes after bootloader fails to install To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1754300/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
