Note that while the r-api-3.4 doesn't exist itself, it seems to be
offered by other packages, like r-core-base.
(https://packages.ubuntu.com/bionic/r-cran-rjava) I was able to install
r-cran-rjava on 18.04 without any problems at least.

When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-
bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this
