Seems related to https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=781296
There are hardcoded values at 60fps / 60hz / 16667. I rebuilt mutter and clutter with values at 144fps / 144hz / 6944, so far it seems to have helped but it's still not as smooth as other desktops. ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #781296 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=781296 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1767693 Title: 18.04 GNOME displays at 60fps even if the monitor is set to 144hz To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/meta-gnome3/+bug/1767693/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
