Public bug reported:
I just recently updated to 18.04 lts using -d option. Earlier in 17.10 I had
issues while shutting down. And thought that seems to be less in this since the
last two days I updated, now a new problem is annoying me.
As soon as I suspend (which I do more than often) and resume my pc, I see a
disconnected sign in the top bar in networks. I tried restarting my router and
also reconnected the lan cable but it doesn’t connect until I restart the
system! I also tried using the network service restart option but still the
network is disconnected. I was redirected here by the budgie support page. You
can get my hardware info from this link of the same problem:
https://discourse.ubuntubudgie.org/t/network-disconnects-after-resuming-pc-from-suspend/344/3?u=jagoneye
Earlier I had shutdown problems. Now that problem is gone but this new problem
came up.
I upgraded my kernel to
4.15.0-20-generic
to solve the shutdown issue.
Hope someone can help me as I use the suspend feature more often.
