Initially the error also included canberra, after installing it with:
sudo apt install libcanberra-gtk-module:i386
I then got only this error:

No idea how to solve this. Initially when I installed steam it worked
fine. I didnt use steam for a few weeks, updated ubuntu a few times in
that few weeks, was surprised by the error when I tried to use steam
again.
I dont know if this is really a bug, but I had an error on ubuntu
telling me there was a problem and asked if I wanted to report the bug
so I said yes. Id really like to get steam working again without re-
installing ubuntu.
