Hi,
I'm clearing old dovecot bugs before the next merge.
For quite a few releases this has moved to dovecot-core which has these:
/usr/share/doc/dovecot-core/README
/usr/share/doc/dovecot-core/README.Debian
And the reported error is not present in them.
