Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kicker
Hi,
My KDE has two panels (not sure if it's the correct name, my system is
in french), a main one, in the right edge of the screen, with all the
buttons, the K menu, clock, etc, and a second one in the top edge with
the taskbar and an applet that shows CPU and memory use. The desktop has
several icons.
After an upgrade to Gutsy, the icons at the top of the desktop are
partly hidden under the top panel.
If I move one of the icons, they all go back to the correct position, i.e. NOT
under the panel.
But if I move the panel to the bottom of the screen, it will hide the icons
that are there.
To be sure it isn't some weird KDE configuration problem, I created a
new account, put some icons ant a new panel, and the problem was there.
