I am adding the block-proposed tag so that this bug shows up on

Feel free to remove the tag once you handle the upgrade issues. I synced
the wine package from Debian for cosmic, but there is not yet an upgrade
path from the wine-stable binary package to the wine binary package.
Since wine1.6 depends on wine-stable, the new wine version is stuck in
-proposed anyway.
