Did that; in fact, when I boot the virtual machine, I get a whole slew of systemd errors: -udevd, -journald, -logind. I will send up all those reports (sorry for the excess reports; it must be one thing that is generating them all), but I'm guessing I have to reinstall.
I'm running under Virtual Box Version 5.2.8 r121009 (Qt5.6.2). This (but not sure what "this" is except error reports) has been happening often; I typically ignore (cancel), but I thought I would look into it now. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1772287 Title: package linux-image-4.4.0-124-generic 4.4.0-124.148 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess new pre-installation script returned error exit status 128 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1772287/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
