Oh, I did that. That is why I know it gets stuck in the udev init
script.

It does not produce any output after inserting the bluetooth modules and
just sits there. A couple of minutes later it continues and the udev
init script exits with return code 0.

Switching to upstart does not change anything... but that is to be
expected, considering that upstart currently uses the same scripts as
sysvinit.
