Public bug reported: For a few years now, I use Grisbi on Ubuntu.
lately, I tried to use Grisbi on Windows 10, using the same Grisbi file. I noticed that the categories for each expenses were not matching the categories I originally chose on Ubuntu. I then think that categories are stored as indexes in the datafile, and if for one reason or another, the same index doesn't design the same category on both OS, then the problem occurs. On way to solve this would be to hardcode the categories in the datafile, or make sure that a unique identifier is created for one given category, no matter the user/PC/OS grisbi sees. ** Affects: grisbi (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1772646 Title: grisbi categories mismatch between two OS (Ubuntu/Windows 10) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grisbi/+bug/1772646/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
