Thanks for the help. I was actually a bit lazy and just noticed that I could copy the compiled .ko into /lib/modules/2.6.22-14-generic/ubuntu/wireless/at76/. Did that and it worked fine. So version 0.17 is working pretty well with Linksys wusb11 ver 2.8. +1 for a gutsy update with this new version
