Public bug reported: I recently upgraded from Firefox 2.0.0.6 (or 7 or something) to 0.8 Ever since, whenever I am in a text box (like this one) Firefox will crash / close unexpectedly. I noticed it first at t-mobile.com/messaging site... and notice it would happen when I pressed a space bar after typing a word... it would crap out. what is weird... if I start with a space as the beginning character, it would be good until I typed a letter or whatever. then a space, it would crash.... NO error messages at all... Occationally, doing a google search will do it too (or random google results). I think I am using Ubuntu Gutsy...
(I am a newbie, and usually click, ya. upgrade this or that, when the upgrade wizzard says something is there...)... I did try to remove Firefox and even rebooted... went back and re-installed it and it still freaking craps out on me... assistance would greatly be appreciated... I like Opera and all... but for linux. I got accustomed to Firefox again... ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- After upgrade to Firefox 2.0.0.8.
