This is from the upgrade log: run-parts: /etc/initramfs/post-update.d//runlilo exited with return code 1
Lilo hasn't been used by default in Ubuntu for many years now so you must have done something to install it. At any rate the problem looks to be with a post-update script installed by lilo and not with linux- firmware, so I'll change this bug to be against that package. ** Package changed: linux-firmware (Ubuntu) => lilo (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1773950 Title: package linux-firmware 1.173.1 failed to install/upgrade: installed linux-firmware package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lilo/+bug/1773950/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
