Starting vlc from the command line via "vlc v4l2:///dev/video1 :input-
slave=alsa://hw:1,0 --aspect-ratio=16:9" before version 3.0.2 I was able
to watch input from a connected stk1160 device without any distortions.
Since version 3.0.2 only the upper part of the input is displayed with
distortion.
