Public bug reported:
Steps:
1. Change the hostname of the computer
2. Open a graphical application
What happens:
The application doesn't start because it is not able to connect to the xserver.
Of course, if I revert the hostname all works fine.
This is the output of the command `gnome-terminal`:
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
(gnome-terminal:6311): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:
** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
