Goes to with a web browser: http://localhost:631/admin/ Check checkbox "Share printers connected to this system", and one may print from another Ubuntu 15.04 client via ipp. What happens instead is that the hplip-gui notes the print job completed, but the job queue notes a job held. The program doing the printing printing was both LibreOffice Writer and Evince. Hence, the software initiating the print job seems not at fault here. The printer prints fine if one connects the client directly via USB. Also this would be a regression as this all used to work with Trusty server and Trusty/Utopic clients.
