Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

When I'm doing steady typing, either in Open Office or answering Web
mail in Mozilla, the cursor starts jumping around the page -- inserting
text in odd places and doing other unpredictable things (occasionally
deleting whole paragraphs of text). The same problem seems to exist in
Feisty, which I also tried for comparison.

The Lenovo keyboard (as per the control panel) is identified as Standard
101/102 key or Microsoft Natural PS/2. Neither choice is available when
I try to use Preferences to customize my set-up and none of the
Microsoft Natural choices solve the problem.

I now have Gutsy installed with XP in a dual boot arrangement, and the
corresponding Windows applications work fine. I'm trying to switch over
to Ubuntu from XP and am otherwise very happy with my new OS. However,
since writing is what I mostly do, I will have to go back to XP unless
this problem can be fixed.

Thank you
