Binary package hint: asterisk
In 7.10, the asterisk package is version 1.4.10~dfsg-1, but the source
package is version 1.4.11~dfsg. As I found out the hard way, and as a
poster to bug 139732 (asterisk 1.4.11~dfsg-1 segfaults on
startup) clearly states, 1.4.11 does not build in Gutsy.
Where is the source that built 1.4.10? packages.ubuntu.com points to
1.4.11, apt-get source gets 1.4.11, and I need to backport 1.4.10 to
Feisty. Weird enough, under Feisty it goes a bit further than on gutsy.
On gutsy is complains about a broken openh323 installation, and in
feisty, using same sources, it passes this and dies with some bristuff
error (bristuff/libpri.h not found). I can't attempt to backport this
unless I have the version that was used to build the Gutsy version of
the package. Right?
