Some more insight; with a Xenial/Ocata deployed cloud with the following software versions:
ceph/librbd 10.2.9 libvirt: 2.5.0-3ubuntu5.6 qemu: 1:2.8+dfsg-3ubuntu2.9 I can hard kill a qemu instance, and have it boot back from a ceph volume OK. I suspect this is something in the interaction between qemu and librbd in later software versions. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1773449 Title: VMs do not survive host reboot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cloud-archive/+bug/1773449/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
