I chose to interpret this as a matter of symlinks in general. For symlinks there is indeed a "Link target" property in Files. OTOH hand the docs page describes *basic* properties, and maybe the link target property was skipped in the docs intentionally.
@Christopher: The "Files properties" page is an upstream GNOME Help page today, so if you think it's important enough, you may want to submit an upstream issue: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-user-docs/issues Personally I don't think this is important enough to change in Ubuntu only, neither in 16.04 nor in the development version, so setting "Won't fix". ** Package changed: ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu) => gnome-user-docs (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: gnome-user-docs (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Won't Fix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1775628 Title: File properties: Link target is not described To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-user-docs/+bug/1775628/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
